New class configurations, new times, new schedules, new opportunities!

Classes will now run 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Music will be part of the class time, and children will sing every 4 to 6 weeks instead of bi-weekly. They will also perform a song or two in our new Multi-generational service held several times a year on Wednesday nights. Kids, Youth, and Adults of all ages will come together to lead in worshiping God, singing songs and praying! What an awesome opportunity for us all to learn and grow together! 

Wednesday night sessions will run in a 4 to 5 week format, with a 3-week break in-between. This allows for some wonderful opportunities for families to use Wednesday nights to re-connect at home!

New class configurations include the following:

Childcare - Room 201
6:15-8:30 p.m.
For children 6 weeks through 2 years
Childcare is provided to parents participating in choir, classes, or in volunteer opportunities on Wednesday Nights.

Little Stars 4 Christ - Lower Fellowship Hall
3 years through pre-kindergarten
Classes will start with choir, and then will move into activities continuing last year's curriculum.

Shining Bright 4 Christ
Kindergarteners and 1st graders
Shining Bright 4 Christ will begin their night in the Adult Choir Room, and end  in room 217. They will have choir practice, followed by an activity session.  To give you an idea of their activities, our first session will be on the Lord’s Prayer.

Pillars 4 Christ
2nd and 3rd graders
Pillars 4 Christ will start and end their night in room 211.
Children will begin in their class, and move into choir about halfway through. They will then return to class to finish out the night. Our first session will be about the Lord’s Prayer.

Tweens 4 Christ
4th and 5th graders
Tweens 4 Christ will start their night in room 137 and will end in the Adult Choir Room.

This is a new ‘tween youth group that will help kids discover the power of a growing faith in Jesus! This semester children will “grapple” with questions they care about...things like “What if Jesus is a Liar?” and “Can being a Christian ever be fun?” 

This group will form a safe and secure online community where they can post prayer requests, messages and faith stories. They will even get to vote on what it is they want to enjoy in their next week's lesson. Each week the Grapple group will be  dared to apply the lessons they have learned into their everyday lives!

Something new just for Parents on Wednesday Nights started Sept 12th

It’s hard being a parent, but now there is help. When you bring your child to their hour of children’s ministry on Wednesday nights, join us for a group that provides support, parenting skills, fun, and spiritual growth.
We will be incorporating regular opportunities to provide assistance in the children’s classes as well. We are still in the planning stages, and will have more information for you on the first night of classes.

Show up in room #601 of the Lynn Veemer Education Center. We hope you will join us and get to know one another. Decide then if this is the group for you!
